AN IMMERSIVE JOURNEY

Formed in São Paulo in 2005, Labirinto has spent two decades developing a distinct musical language built around layered textures, atmospheric tension and visceral intensity. Moving between post-metal, ambient music and experimental sound, the band approaches each composition as an unfolding narrative, creating expansive sonic landscapes where weight, fragility and repetition coexist.

Throughout its history, Labirinto has released three studio albums — Anatema, Gehenna and Divino Afflante Spiritu — alongside several EPs, singles and collaborative records. The band has worked with producers and engineers such as Billy Anderson, Magnus Lindberg, Greg Norman and Tony Doogan, and has toured extensively across Brazil, Europe and North America.

Labirinto was the first South American band invited to perform at Belgium’s Dunk!Festival, returning to the festival on three different occasions. Over the years, the band has shared stages with artists including Amenra, Alcest, Mono, The Ocean, Caspian, Katatonia, Rosetta and God Is an Astronaut. Since 2016, Labirinto has been part of the Pelagic Records roster, while continuing to release music in Brazil through its own label, Dissenso Records.

Following the release of Divino Afflante Spiritu and its last European tour in 2019, the band entered a long period of interruption, lineup changes and gradual reconstruction. In 2026, Labirinto begins a new chapter with “Antístēte”, its first new music in seven years. The single retains the density, atmosphere and narrative character that have always defined the band, while introducing a more direct and visceral presence through harsh vocals.

Rather than a return to the past, this new phase represents an expansion of Labirinto’s language — carrying traces of everything the band has been while pointing towards what comes next.
